Termite & Wood-Destroying Organism Inspections (NPMA-33)

Termite Inspection

Most inspectors charge extra for it. We include it free with every home inspection. The NPMA-33 is the standard wood-destroying organism report that most lenders — including VA and many FHA loans — require before closing.

What the NPMA-33 covers

Evidence of termites, carpenter ants, powder-post beetles, wood-boring insects and wood-decay fungi, plus conditions conducive to infestation: wood-to-soil contact, poor grading, excessive moisture, and debris under crawl spaces.

Why it matters in West Virginia

Older wood-framed housing, wet crawl spaces and heavily wooded lots make WDO activity common across the state. Damage is typically slow, hidden, and expensive by the time anyone notices it.

What happens if we find something

You get the documented findings in your report. We don't do treatment, so there's no pressure and no upsell — just the information you and your lender need.
